Each print is 29cm sq, giclée print on museum archival paper, mounted in deep, white 50cm sq frame.

Running in conjunction with PhotoIreland Festival 2011 - a month long festival of photography, 'Bleak Beauty' is a series of photographs of Bull Island and its environs. Photographed over a a period of 10 to 15 years, the evocative images show an edge of the area rarely represented in landscape photography.

Photographing everyday man made objects sitting in the wilds of the man made Island Eugene Langan has raised the ordinary to the iconic.
